About Ashcraft & Gerel
Lee Ashcraft and Martin Gerel met and became fast friends in the early 1950’s in a booming, post World War II Washington, DC. They came from divergent backgrounds but had one unifying passion: to restore balance for the powerless against powerful corporations through legal justice. And they did just that. From their start in a tiny, two person office, they created, nurtured and passed the baton of a large, storied law firm with accolades and newsworthy results spanning more than half a century. They created a legacy that continues even today.
